2020 New Worship Schedule

Weekly Worship
9:15 | Enrichment Center
10:30 | Sanctuary
Quarterly Worship
10:30 | Sanctuary
11:30 | Luncheon

We are very excited to announce our new Sunday morning worship schedule starting on January 5, 2020.

January 5, along with the first Sundays of each quarter when we celebrate communion (April 5, July 5, and October 4), we will have ONE united worship service in the sanctuary beginning at 10:30 a.m. and followed by a fellowship luncheon in the Enrichment Center.

On the other Sundays, beginning January 12, there will be two worship services.  The first will begin at 9:15 a.m. in the Enrichment Center and will include modern worship songs (accompanied by the worship band).  Nursery and Grace Kids classes will be available for children nursery age through 5th grade.

The second worship service will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the sanctuary and will include a combination of familiar hymns and worship songs (accompanied by the piano/keyboard), as well as a combination of anthems, solos, and other special music pieces.  Nursery and Grace Kids classes will also be available for this service.

Here are a few additional notes related to this schedule:

  • The Ignite Student Ministries Bible study will meet beginning at 10:30 a.m. in the Teen Center.

  • The Sunday morning adult Bible study will meet beginning at 9:15 a.m. in the library, or at another time agreed upon by participants.

  • Coffee Fellowship will be offered between these two services.

  • The message and preacher will be the same at both services.

The departure of Americans from churches and from the Christian faith is happening at an alarming rate, and Boca Raton is not immune to that trend.  It’s our hope that this Sunday schedule will address the urgency of this challenge by building and strengthening the inter-generational unity of our congregation and further enhancing our hospitality for guests as we all seek to live out our mission of loving God, loving people, connecting with our community, and connecting our community with Jesus.
